Before you start your iMovie project, you need to download the latest version or update to the version on your iPhone and iPad. The same steps will be applicable to both devices.

  • Open the iMovie app on your iPhone or iPad.
  • Tap on iMovie to start a new project.
  • Pick the files that you want to import to the iMovie project and tap on the Create Movie.
  • After adding your clip, tap on the Settings icon at the bottom right. The settings will open on your screen.
  • Click on the toggle to turn on the Theme Soundtrack.

  • Type ‘iMovie’ and go on the program.

  • Preview the video and then click on Audio and Video.
  • Click on Sound Effects.
  • Pick Theme Music from the dropdown menu.
