A Texas teacher has allegedly shot her 17-year-old son while driving him to school leading to his unfortunate death and this incident has surely stunned the community. Sarah Hunt, 39, is in custody for the shocking murder committed wherein Garrett Hunt was fatally shot inside a parked vehicle in Reisel, Texas, with the engine still running on Monday morning.
The mother had been arrested when she was walking back into town and has been allegedly charged with her son’s murder as she is known to have spoken to bystanders about her son’s death. According to the affidavit, she told two of the men that whatever she has done is not real. She was then confronted by the police wherein she was found to be incoherent but showcased regret and was extremely emotional.
Hunt was driving her son to Reisel High School that day, however, the reports indicate that Garrett was not enrolled as a student in that school. Hunt teaches fifth-graders and is a first-year teacher at lake Air Montessori Magnet School. The investigators said that the case is still active and a clear motive for the murder is yet to be discovered. Till now, Hunt has been kept in custody on $500,000 bail.
